It’s true that I have no plans to move to Iowa. It’s true that I don’t really like sprawling five-bedroom houses in subdivisions so new that the trees are still saplings. It’s true that I’m not into wall-to-wall carpeting.
Nevertheless, I’d have trouble resisting this house. Not just because my little suburban New Jersey heart can hardly believe how much house you can get out there for less than $300,000. (Although really! Five bedrooms! And look at how low the property taxes are!)
